- Creating a piece of foam to use with tweeters (eg Focal, Eminence) or to cover a cabinet (JBL) for damping
- Repairing a foam surround (that's not deteriorated yet) after a 'cat attack' (glue a small piece of foam to the backside of the foam surround)
- Rapairing a smal tear in a speaker cone (glue a small piece of foam to the backside of the speaker cone)
